The story of our Seaside Tribe – of Adi, Irene & Noi, and the extended Seaside Tribe family – could start in so many different places. It could be a story of boy meets girl. It could be a story of hard work. It could be a story of love that conquers distance.
The Seaside Tribe is a tiny boutique surf camp in the heart of Kedungu, a small Balinese village just a short ride from Canggu. It was designed with surf, community and sustainability at its core – a place for you to catch some of Bali’s famous waves (whether you’re a beginner or a pro!), make new friends, and rest & recuperate in tranquil spaces.
Since opening in 2018, it has become a home away from home for lovers of surf and travel from all around the world – and like all good stories, ours started in the most unexpected of ways!
Not your average Bali surf holiday!
If you’re looking for a Bali surf experience that’s a little bit different, where you can:
- make friends and have fun, but still have a private space to relax
- surf the waves and improve your technique in a personal & efficient teaching environment
- keep a good balance between surfing, relaxing and exploring
- eat delicious, healthy, mainly local home-cooked food
- stay off the beaten track but still head out for some coffee or explore a variety of places, be it busy and hip Canggu or discovering a hidden waterfall in the countryside
- have the host family personally living on place
